On Friday 17th of June 2011 HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn opened the largest state of the art canned milk facility for Fraser & Neave in Thailand.
Mr. Tengku Syarif Bendahara Perlis Syed Badarudin Jamalullail, chairman of Fraser & Neave Holdings BHD: "This plant is the 'best in class' among condensory operations in the world and its design incorporates state of the art technology to meet the highest food safety and efficiencies in the production of canned milk products and will make F&N the largest canned milk condensery in the world".
Mr. Koh Poh Tiong, CEO Food & Beverage Fraser & Neave: "With a total capacity of 3.5 million cans per day or an annual production of about 24 million cases, the new plant is geared towards serving a consumer base of over 200 million, covering Thailand and Indochina. Kudos to the project team responsible for the record 12 month construction period and seamless move from the Navanakorn manufacturing facility.
Chuchawal Royal Haskoning designed the factory and supervised the construction.
