Chuchawal Royal Haskoning shares Dutch experience

Air Quality Management always requires an organization that fits to the local situation, but there are some general features that we can learn not only from The Netherlands but also from other parts of the world, that should be taken into account in developing a successful air quality control system.

The Rotterdam Industrial Harbour case shows that it is possible to have a large scale industrial zone close to a large living area and protect the natural environment. It involves an active cyclic approach for continuous improvement, according to a well developed strategic and operational plan, with sound, shared information and participation of all  stakeholders.

Mr. Wim van Doorn, senior consultant on air quality, health effects and clean technology, at Royal Haskoning published an article in PTIT Focus. Chuchawal Royal Haskoning and PTIT are working active on transfer of technology and information in order to improve Air Quality Management in Thailand.
