Essilor Waste Water Treatment Plant

Essilor is expanding a new lens production plant in Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate, Chonburi. The Water and Environment Department of Chuchawal Royal Haskoning was appointed to prepare a conceptual and detailed designs for 720-m3/d waste water treatment and connecting collection systems. A chemical treatment process was proposed based on results of a jar test carried out in order to ensure the treatment possibility. The treatment system consists of an equalization tank and coagulation/flocculation tanks followed by a clarifier. The effluent will flow to the central wastewater treatment plant of Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate and complies with the regulations. In 2008 the proposed design was implemented.
