“Settling Column Tests” were conducted to investigate the setting characteristics of suspended solids in the waste water. Results from the tests are used for the design of a pre-sedimentation tank, which is added to the existing waste water treatment system as a pretreatment step for suspended solids removal. Chuchawal Royal Haskoning provided services for the pilot tests, process design, architectural and structural design, tendering, construction supervision, and project management.
